INTRODUCTION

                     Over million innocent children in Nepal, consisting of great percentage of the world, have no chance to have an education because of so called existing war, caste-based discrimination, inhuman practices adopted by the society and social discrimination, poverty and economical and social inequity. And without an education, they can't get the tools they need to lift themselves out of poverty, caste-based discrimination and inequity. Many children in Nepal (Socially deprived, helpless, street children, orphaned, handicapped, impoverished, abandoned, disabled, blind and deaf children), are obliged to be homeless and work in hotels or to involve in theft or to be deprived to have an education due to different reasons. This kind of extreme poverty robs people of their fundamental human rights, and contributes to the spread of HIV/AIDS, social instability and environmental damage. We know if they get to have an education, they can make a great contribution to the development of the country through several sectors. So, we, the young people of Nepal, can play a key role in building the partnership to protect educational, health and employment right of the children in the present scenario of Nepal to make a difference. That's where Commitment Since Today comes into existence.

                Environmental degradation has become the global concern in present scenario and so has Nepal's because of day to day degradation on environmental balance due to lack of public awareness, growing industrialization, haphazard urbanization, improper and imbalance use and management of natural resources etc. So, it has been necessary to involve in need of public awareness creation not only among the students but also among general public against national environmental disharmony. Environment being mainstay entity of human life, it has been must too to contribute more effectively towards conservation of biodiversity, forests, soils and watersheds through participatory approaches that build the capacity of individuals, communities, and organizations in order to ensure the ecological, economic and socio-cultural integrity of the region and launch different environmental research programs to investigate innovative ideas on Integrated Participatory Community-based Natural Resource Management for ecosystem conservation.
